MyBookAm Classroom Tools (“the Tools”, mybookam.com/classroom) is a
software product of the MyBookAm marketplace. This policy explains what
we collect, why, and how we protect it.
- Account data: name, phone, email, role
(tutor/student/parent/university), class or subject.
- Learning data: exam attempts, scores, assignments,
questions asked to study tools, progress records.
- Payment records: plan purchased, amount, reference
and expiry (card details are handled only by Flutterwave — we never see
them).
- Technical: login sessions, device/browser data and
usage logs needed to run and secure the service.
- To create and run your account and deliver the Tools you subscribed
to.
- To send your branded payment receipts and
welcome messages by email.
- To show tutors their students’ progress, and students their own
records.
- To secure the platform, prevent abuse, and improve the service.
3. What We Never Do
- We never sell or rent personal data.
- We never use student learning data for advertising.
- We never store card or bank details.
4. Children & Students
- Student accounts may be created by tutors/schools or by students
themselves with a class code. Tutors and schools are responsible for
having the authority to register students.
- Parents may request a tutor/school to correct or remove a child’s
records; platform-level requests:

5. Who Processes Data
- Hosting: Amazon Web Services (secure cloud
servers).
- Payments: Flutterwave.
- Email delivery: Brevo (receipts and welcome
messages). Data is shared only as needed to run these services — never
for third-party marketing.
6. Security & Retention
- HTTPS encryption, access controls, hashed passwords and admin audit
logging.
- We keep data while your account is active and for a reasonable
period afterwards for legal/accounting purposes, then delete or
anonymize it.
- You may request correction, export or deletion of your account data
at hello@mybookam.com.
- We may update this policy; material changes will be announced on the
site.
