Welcome to MyBookAm Classroom Tools (“the Tools”), a
product of the MyBookAm marketplace (“MyBookAm”, “we”, “us”). By
creating an account or using the Tools at
mybookam.com/classroom, you agree to these Terms.
1. What We Are — and What We
Are Not
- MyBookAm Classroom Tools is software: practice
exams, assignments, quizzes, AI-assisted tutoring and progress records
for tutors, students, parents and university students.
- MyBookAm is not a school, does not operate any school or
tutorial centre, and does not employ tutors. Tutors using the
Tools are independent and fully responsible for their teaching, conduct
and arrangements with students and parents.
- MyBookAm is a marketplace providing software tools. Use of the Tools
does not create any partnership, agency or employment relationship.
2. Accounts & Subscriptions
- Students use the Tools free (subject to plan limits
set by their tutor or the platform).
- Tutors choose a paid plan (e.g. Tutor, Tutor Pro,
School) — prices are shown at registration and on the plans page.
- Tutor accounts are created only after the selected
subscription is paid. An unpaid registration does not create an
account.
- Additional tools (e.g. Exam Practice, Global Exams, University
tools) are paid per plan as displayed at purchase.
- Payments are processed by Flutterwave. MyBookAm
never sees or stores your card details.
3. Refund Policy
- Subscriptions and tool activations are digital services
delivered immediately and are non-refundable
once activated, except where required by law.
- Duplicate or erroneous charges: contact
hello@mybookam.com within 7 days; verified errors are
refunded.
- Any arrangement between a tutor and a student/parent (lesson fees,
etc.) is strictly between them — MyBookAm is not a
party and does not hold such funds.
4. Acceptable Use
- Use the Tools lawfully and respectfully. No cheating services,
harassment, or uploading unlawful content.
- Do not share accounts, scrape content, or attempt to bypass payment
or access controls.
- AI-assisted answers are study aids — they may
occasionally be imperfect; always verify important information. The
Tools support learning; they do not replace teachers or guarantee exam
results.
5. Content
- Tutors retain ownership of materials they create but grant MyBookAm
the right to host and deliver them within the Tools.
- MyBookAm’s questions, exams, designs and software are our property
and may not be copied or resold.
6. Availability & Liability
- We work hard to keep the Tools available but do not guarantee
uninterrupted service.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyBookAm’s total liability
for any claim is limited to the amount you paid MyBookAm in the last 12
months.
- MyBookAm is not liable for any arrangement, payment or dispute
between tutors, students, parents or schools.
7. Suspension, Termination,
Changes, Law
- We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms. You may stop using
the Tools at any time.
- We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on the
site. Continued use means acceptance.
- Governing law: Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Disputes: Nigerian courts.
