MyBookAm Marketplace (mybookam.com/marketplace and /serviceplace) is a listing and discovery tool of the MyBookAm marketplace family. This policy explains what we collect and how we protect it.

1. Information We Collect

• Buyers (browsing): no account is needed to browse. We collect only basic technical data (device/browser, pages viewed) to run and improve the site.
• Buyers (contacting sellers): if you call or message a seller (e.g. by phone/WhatsApp), that contact happens directly between you and the seller — MyBookAm does not see or store your conversation.
• Sellers: shop name, owner name, phone, email, full shop address (state/city/market), product photos, prices and descriptions — provided through ShopKepa.
• Technical: cookies/sessions for site features, and usage logs for security.

2. What We Never Do

• We never collect or process payments — the marketplace has no checkout, so there are no card or bank details to store.
• We never sell or rent personal data.
• We never use seller or buyer data for third-party advertising.

3. How We Use Information

• To display listings with shop details so buyers can find and visit shops.
• To connect buyers and sellers (seller contact details are displayed publicly by design — that is how the marketplace works).
• To secure the platform and prevent fraud and fake listings.

4. Public Information

• A seller’s shop name, address, phone and listings are public by nature — they are the service. Sellers should list only business contact details they want buyers to see.

5. Who Processes Data

• Hosting: Amazon Web Services (secure cloud servers).
• Email: Brevo (service messages).
• Sellers’ listings originate from the connected ShopKepa platform. We share data only as needed to run these services.

6. Security, Rights & Retention

• HTTPS encryption and access controls protect the platform.
• Sellers may correct or remove their listings and shop data via ShopKepa or by emailing hello@mybookam.com.
• We keep data while a shop is listed and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal purposes, then delete or anonymize it.

7. Changes, Law & Contact

• We may update this policy; material changes will be announced on the site.
